These tutorials teach 2d drafting, 3d modeling, lighting rendering and light plot creation for VectorWorks. They also teach the basic use of Lightwright 5 and Adobe Acrobat Writer Pro. They are intended not only to teach the software but also to teach a way of navigating drawings and setting up workflow for large scale projects.

“We have found Lonnie’s tutorials to be extremely useful.  Because they are broken down into sensible topics they are valuable to both beginning and experienced users. Experienced users can zero in on the areas where they need to supplement their skills and less experienced users can start at the beginning a build a strong foundation for the more advanced topics. The tutorials are very clear with useful “follow along” examples provided with each topic. Lonnie’s strong background in our industry places his tutorials head and shoulders above the more general training sessions I have attended that were sponsored by Vector Works.”

“LRA Design’s tutorials are thorough, clear and simple to use! They walk you step by step through tools, concepts and organization. Great for beginners or advanced users looking to learn new facets of the program. I use Vectorworks for both set design and lighting design applications and the tutorials include fantastic information on modelling, rendering and spotlight. This is the simplest, most cost-effective way I can think of to learn Vectorworks! ”

“These tutorials are a very useful resource, and not just for learning the software the first time around. I look to them for quick reminders or little fixes, things that come up as you are working. They maximize my efficiency because I have the answer available right away. There are tutorials covering most everything I’ve encountered, and knowing that I can refer back to them when needed is great peace of mind. I have recommended these tutorials to colleagues, and continue to suggest them to anyone who has an interest in the software. Invaluable.”

“These video tutorials are invaluable to our company.  Most of us here at Brite Ideas have been around the block with Vectorworks but have found helpful topics to brush up and hone new and improved techniques.  New users in our company have found his tutorials extremely helpful in learning from the ground up, with hands on practice tailored to enable each topic to be mastered at an individual pace.  I am pleased to have someone who is new to the program become proficient in such a short time.  Having attended conventional training in the past, I find the video series to be much more intuitive and cover the broadest range of topics relevant to our industry.  Keep up the good work!”

“Lonnie’s tutorial videos have helped me gain a better understanding of how to create files that can be used more effectively between other professionals.  His method of file organization makes drawing faster and easier to navigate.  The tutorials provide well-paced step-by-step instructions along with great screenshots of the actions.  I continue to reference these tutorials when I encounter difficult challenges on Vectorworks.”
